Open now. The City of Reno Arts & Culture program is accepting applications for two 2027 organization grant tracks through its official Submittable portal: the City of Reno Arts & Culture 2027 Project Grants and City of Reno Arts & Culture Event Grants 2027.
Deadline: both tracks require applications by September 30, 2026 at 11:00 PM PT. The City portal contains inconsistent weekday labels next to that date, so Atlas relies on the exact calendar date, time, and PT designation rather than repeating the weekday.
Project Grant funding: up to $7,000, covering no more than 50% of eligible program costs, with a 1:1 cash match. This is a reimbursement grant and funds are released after required final reporting. Projects must occur between January 1 and December 31, 2027.
Project Grant eligibility: nonprofit organizations or public institutions under 501(c)(3), or qualified educational institutions; individuals are not eligible. The applicant must have an official business address in Reno or a nearby community such as Sparks, Incline Village, or Truckee, must have at least one year of active programming, and the funded project must take place within City of Reno boundaries. One Project Grant application may be submitted per organization.
Project Grant allowable costs: examples include artist fees, public performance and exhibition costs, project promotion and marketing, art consultants, guest teaching artist fees, materials and supplies, and facility rentals outside the organization’s main offices. Capital improvements and acquisition of equipment or property are ineligible, along with religious-purpose projects, fundraising, prizes, touring outside Reno, indirect costs, general operating costs, and scholarships or research stipends.
Event Grant funding: up to $7,000 with a 10% cash match. This is also a reimbursement grant, and eligible events must occur between January 1 and December 31, 2027.
Event Grant eligibility: qualifying nonprofit arts and culture organizations, non-arts nonprofits, public institutions, and qualified educational institutions may apply. Applicants must meet the same location and one-year operating-history requirements. The event must be within Reno city limits, free and open to the public, and a unique one-time event taking place over a single day, weekend, or week. One Event Grant application may be submitted per organization.
Event Grant allowable costs: examples include personnel, artistic and production fees, space rental, travel, marketing and advertising, and other event-related expenses. Capital improvements and acquisition of equipment or property are ineligible, along with the other exclusions listed for the Project Grant.
Submission and required materials: applications are submitted through the City of Reno Arts & Culture Submittable portal. The public grant listings do not enumerate a separate attachment checklist for either track, so applicants should follow the controlling online application form and portal requirements and should not assume additional materials not shown there.
Reporting: both tracks require a final budget documenting the match, a final narrative/report with program or event metrics, and three photographs. The City also requires an audience survey component and states that funding will not be released if that requirement is not fulfilled.

N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. Both tracks are arts and culture programs and expressly prohibit acquisition of equipment or property. No legitimate role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform was verified.
Atlas Opportunity Score: 68/100. The opportunity is open, clearly administered by the City of Reno, provides concrete award ceilings and deadlines, and is relevant to qualifying Nevada nonprofits, public institutions, and educational institutions, but it has no verified healthcare-device or QC Healthcare pathway.
Dr. Miltie/QC Healthcare direct applicant or vendor fit: 0/100. No direct pursuit or applicant outreach is being advanced.
