Important addendum
Addendum I supersedes the original schedule. Applications without a required LOI received by the September 2 deadline are not eligible and will not be considered. The application is anticipated to open September 8.
Funding and technology relevance
The FOA includes clinical research, emerging therapeutics and technologies, research infrastructure, and equipment mechanisms. Equipment must be essential to the research objectives and justified in the budget; the FOA expressly recognizes advanced imaging or diagnostic equipment and significant equipment upgrades. Subcontracts are allowed when justified and pre-approved.
Dr. Miltie / N9+ perspective
This is not a direct procurement for Dr. Miltie. N9+ could be considered only when a qualifying Florida investigator-led project has a defensible research need for connected diagnostic data capture, decentralized clinical-study workflows, or other research technology and the applicant can justify the cost under the controlling FOA.
