Opportunity Overview
The Albert N. and Hattie M. McClure Fund, administered through the Greater New Orleans Foundation, supports emergency bricks and mortar projects for eligible United Way partner agencies in Southeast Louisiana.
Funding and Timing
Eligible agencies may request up to $15,000 for emergency repairs, replacements, and additions to facilities. The fund does not typically pay 100 percent of a project and generally does not make more than one grant to the same 501(c)(3) organization in a twelve month period.
Deadline: Rolling / year round. The Foundation states that the application process has no deadline date and that organizations are generally notified of funding decisions within 60 days.
Eligibility
Applicants must be eligible United Way partner agencies serving within the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s thirteen parish Southeast Louisiana service area: Assumption, Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, and Washington parishes. Priority goes to capital needs responding to a crisis or emergency.
Submission
Applications must be submitted electronically through the Greater New Orleans Foundation online Foundant portal. Because the fund does not typically cover 100 percent of a project, applicants should be prepared to identify other project funding as applicable; the public page does not state a fixed percentage match.
Atlas Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 55/100. This is a verified, continuously open Louisiana capital assistance opportunity with a meaningful award ceiling and clear regional eligibility, but its scope is limited to emergency facility work for United Way partner agencies.
N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. QC Healthcare Fit: 0/100. The fund is for emergency facility repairs and capital work and does not establish a legitimate funded role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform, QC Healthcare, or Dr. Miltie.
Next Action
Eligible United Way partner agencies with urgent qualifying facility needs should review the Foundation’s guidelines and apply through its electronic portal. Atlas will track the opportunity but will not create N9+ or QC Healthcare outreach.
