Opportunity Overview
The Roundhouse Foundation offers Library Collections & Programming Grants to support programming or collections development for eligible rural and remote Oregon school and public libraries.
Funding
School libraries may request up to $2,000 for a single school or up to $5,000 for a school district. Eligible public libraries may request up to $5,000. The current official guidance does not state an applicant match or cost share requirement.
Application Period and Review
The 2026 application period runs from June 1 through November 30, 2026, or until available funds are exhausted. The controlling Roundhouse Foundation page does not publish an exact closing clock time or time zone. Applications are reviewed at the beginning of each month and the Foundation states that review generally takes six to eight weeks. Applicants with time sensitive projects should contact the Foundation because projects occurring within four weeks of submission generally cannot be considered.
Eligibility
The program is limited to rural or remote Oregon school and public libraries serving communities with populations under 40,000. Eligible libraries must be government entities, including special districts, Tribal governments, or qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofits. College and university libraries and county law libraries are not eligible. The Foundation also states that it does not fund individuals, religious or faith based organizations, private charter schools, or political activity.
Required Materials and Submission
Applicants may receive one collections or programming grant per organization per year. A signed letter of support is required from the library district director or an appropriate building supervisor such as a principal or superintendent. Applications are submitted through the Roundhouse Foundation online grants portal.
Atlas Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 74/100. This is a clear, low burden rural Oregon school and public library funding pathway with monthly review, but the modest award ceiling and funds until exhausted limitation reduce strategic value.
N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. The verified program scope does not establish a legitimate role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform or QC Healthcare. Atlas is publishing this opportunity for Oregon education visibility without forcing a healthcare technology fit.
