Verified September 13, 2026. The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne is currently accepting Agile Grants applications for qualifying nonprofit programs serving Allen County.
Application timing and funding
The 2026 Agile Grant program is open March through October. Applications are accepted on a rolling, first come, first served basis and are reviewed monthly. Available issue areas may close as funds are awarded. Agile Grants provide up to $20,000 in program-related funding. Requests above $20,000 will not be considered, and the Foundation publishes an average Agile Grant size of $6,000.
Eligibility
Applicants must be classified as 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. At least 50% of the people served must be in Allen County and/or the organization must provide a unique service to the county. The Eligibility Quiz also requires that the applicant has not received an Agile Grant in the last calendar year, the request is for program funding rather than general operating support, the request is not an event sponsorship, and the published religious-programming restrictions are satisfied.
Health-aligned pathways
Current issue areas with potential healthcare relevance include Adults and Children with Disabilities, Infant Mortality, Elderly, and Substance Use Services for Women and Families. Because issue areas may become unavailable as funds are committed, applicants should verify the live grants portal before project development.
Application requirements
The application asks for the project or program name, focus area and amount requested; a description of the project and use of funds; qualifications and capacity; duplication of services; impact; number of people affected; timeline; sustainability; and feasibility. A project or program budget must be uploaded in Excel format and include projected and secured income and expenses. Agile Grants are one-time awards, do not fund medical or academic research, and do not provide operational support, event sponsorships, fundraising event support or annual fund support. The guidelines state that an audit is not required.
N9+ and vendor fit
Atlas Opportunity Score: 87/100. N9+ Fit Score: 82/100 conditional. The Nonagon N9+ device and platform may have a legitimate applicant-selected role when an eligible Allen County nonprofit has a verified health-service project involving guided remote physical examination, vitals collection, or telehealth-enabled clinical encounters. The public Agile Grant guidelines do not expressly establish general technology or equipment allowability, so N9+ budget eligibility must be confirmed for the specific applicant and project before inclusion.
Submission mechanics and controls
Applications are submitted through the Foundation’s online grants portal. No mandatory match or cost-share requirement was identified in the reviewed June 2026 guidelines. The current public materials do not publish an exact final October submission date, clock time, or time zone. That timing must be verified before any cold applicant outreach.
