N9+ Fit 0/100. QC Healthcare Fit 0/100. The verified program scope funds home-delivered meal operations and does not establish a legitimate role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform or QC Healthcare.

The Texas Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for the 2027 Texans Feeding Texans: Home-Delivered Meal Grant Program. The program supplements and extends existing home-delivered meal services for homebound elderly Texans and people with disabilities.

Applications opened September 1, 2026 and must be received through TDA-GO before 5:00 PM Central Time on November 2, 2026. Mail, email, and fax submissions are not accepted.

Eligible applicants are Texas governmental agencies and qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that directly provided home-delivered meals during the prior state fiscal year to elderly persons age 60 or older and/or persons with disabilities in Texas. Nonprofit applicants must have a volunteer board. Applicants also must satisfy the program’s accounting, duplication-prevention, county-support, and food-inspection requirements.

Funding is formula-based and subject to available state funds. The program does not state a universal maximum award or total funding pool. A county grant is required. A contribution equivalent to $0.25 per county senior fully qualifies the organization for the county-support component; a smaller county contribution results in a proportionally reduced TDA award rather than automatic ineligibility. Calculated awards of $250 or less are not issued.

Allowable costs may include directly related personnel, food and packaging, transportation, building occupancy, supplies, telecommunications, and small equipment under $10,000. Capital equipment of $10,000 or more, indirect costs, alcohol, entertainment, gift cards, tips, and unsupported or unbudgeted expenses are not allowable.

Required application uploads include the TDA-approved county resolution, recent financial statements, current food-establishment permit or exemption proof, Texas payee identification, W-9, and direct-deposit documentation. Nonprofit applicants must also provide an IRS determination letter and board/officer list. TDA recommends creating the TDA-GO profile 48 to 72 hours before applying. A UEI is not required.

The anticipated award period begins February 1, 2027 and runs through January 31, 2028. Atlas assigns this opportunity an Atlas Opportunity Score of 84/100. N9+ Fit is 0/100 and QC Healthcare Fit is 0/100 because the verified program scope is limited to home-delivered meal operations and does not establish a legitimate role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform or QC Healthcare.
