The Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg is accepting 2026 applications for Together With Our Community, a small-grant program supporting community-led activities and projects in South St. Petersburg. Eligible requests are up to $2,500. Applications are accepted on monthly cutoffs during the 2026 cycle, with the final 2026 application deadline October 31, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. EST as published in the Foundation’s RFP.
Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations or organizations working through a fiscal sponsor or fiscal agent. A fiscal agent may charge no more than 5% of the funding request for administrative costs. Applicants must be in good standing with current or prior Foundation grants, and proposed activities must take place in the current calendar year. All funded activities must take place in and/or serve residents of ZIP codes 33705, 33711, or 33712. An organization may submit only one Together With Our Community application per calendar year.
Eligible uses include community events, new or expanded organizational programming, innovative or pilot community-based projects, and other community-based activities. The RFP identifies political or advocacy activities, capital campaigns or renovations, organizational infrastructure or capacity building, activities that already occurred, fundraisers or sponsorships, and staff compensation or salaries as ineligible. Atlas found no published mandatory match or cost-share requirement in the controlling RFP.
Applications must be submitted through the Foundation’s Fluxx grants portal. Required organizational materials include IRS determination or organizational-status documentation, annual financial information or current-year budget projections where applicable, a board list, and the Foundation’s budget worksheet.
