Opportunity Overview
The Eagle Assistance Fund, administered through the Greater New Orleans Foundation, provides financial assistance to eligible current employees of Southern Eagle who experience financial hardship because of a medical or catastrophic event.
Funding and Timing
Eligible employees may request $500 to $2,500 per qualified event, based on date of hire. Assistance is capped at $2,500 per employee annually. Awards are gifts, not loans, and do not need to be repaid.
Deadline: Rolling / year round. The Foundation lists both the open date and due date as rolling.
Eligibility
Eligible full time Southern Eagle employees must have at least six months of continuous employment. Eligible part time employees must work at least 20 hours per week. Qualifying hardship categories include medical emergencies, natural disasters, loss of a primary residence, funeral expenses for immediate family members, unexpected loss of transportation, and other exceptional circumstances reviewed case by case.
Submission
Applications are confidential and must be submitted electronically through the Greater New Orleans Foundation online Foundant portal. The public program page does not publish a separate attachment checklist or mandatory applicant match requirement, so Atlas does not infer either.
Atlas Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 40/100. This is a verified, continuously open Louisiana assistance program with clear employee eligibility and award limits, but it is narrowly restricted to Southern Eagle employees and is designed for individual financial hardship rather than organizational programs or procurement.
N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. QC Healthcare Fit: 0/100. The program does not establish a legitimate funded role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform, QC Healthcare, or Dr. Miltie. Atlas will not force a device, clinical services, or vendor angle.
Next Action
Eligible Southern Eagle employees experiencing a qualifying hardship should use the Foundation’s electronic application portal. Atlas will track the opportunity but will not create applicant outreach for N9+ or QC Healthcare.
