Wyoming opportunity. The Wyoming Business Council Market Expansion Grant (MEG) is open to eligible private Wyoming-based for-profit businesses seeking to expand into new domestic markets outside Wyoming.
Funding: MEG reimburses 75% of approved market-expansion expenses, up to $4,000 per application. A company may receive no more than two MEG awards per fiscal year, subject to funding availability. The program reopened July 1, 2026 on a first-come, first-served basis, and eligible activities may run through June 30, 2027.
Eligibility: Applicants must be qualifying for-profit partnerships, LLCs, LLPs, or corporations registered with the Wyoming Secretary of State with a physical Wyoming presence, more than 50% of employees in Wyoming, a good-faith intent to remain in Wyoming, annual revenue under $5 million, and a credible plan to expand into out-of-state markets with measurable sales potential.
Application timing: Applications must be submitted before the activity and no later than 30 days before the planned market-expansion activity. MEG is a reimbursement program, so approved applicants pay costs first and request reimbursement afterward.
Eligible uses: Examples include qualifying trade-show expenses, domestic trade missions, federal government matchmaking events, market-specific packaging or marketing materials, targeted marketing campaigns, shipping, certain travel and ground transportation, parking, advertising, approved event labor, booth materials, meeting-room or audiovisual rentals, and limited lodging cost share. MEG may not be combined with STEP funds for the same grant request.
Ineligible uses: Current guidelines exclude meals, snacks and beverages; ordinary operating expenses such as salaries and office supplies; training and certification events; fundraising or capital-raising activity; travel originating outside Wyoming; and product samples.
Required application materials: WBC requires its online application, an expense budget template, confirmation or itinerary supporting the proposed market activity, the company’s current marketing plan, and an up-to-date IRS W-9 when the company is not already in Wyoming’s payment system.
Atlas assessment: Atlas Opportunity Score 68/100. N9+ Fit Score 0/100. QC Healthcare Fit 0/100. This is a broad Wyoming business market-expansion grant and does not establish a legitimate applicant or funded role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform or QC Healthcare under currently verified facts.
