Community Capital Fund’s 2026–27 Youth Neighborhoods Rising Fund is open to youth-led teams in eligible Kansas City-area communities. Missouri projects must be led by teams located in Jackson or Clay counties and supported by an adult advisor. The primary applicant must be an eligible neighborhood association, community group, 501(c)(3) organization, school district, private school, or charter school in good standing.
Youth teams may request up to $5,000 for projects that strengthen their communities. Funding may support project-related supplies, materials, outreach, event expenses, and other costs directly tied to completing the project. The program will not fund adult-led projects, projects primarily benefiting individuals, political activities, fundraising efforts, projects outside the stated priorities, or projects that cannot be completed within the required timeline.
Applications opened August 7, 2026 and are due September 25, 2026. The controlling public page does not publish an exact submission time or time zone. Applications must be submitted electronically through Community Capital Fund’s Good Grants platform. New applicants must create an account. A short one-to-three-minute project pitch video is required. Projects must be completed by July 16, 2027, with final reports due July 30, 2027. The public program page does not publish a mandatory match or cost-share requirement.
Atlas analysis: Atlas Opportunity Score 66/100. N9+ Fit 0/100. QC Healthcare/other Dr. Miltie Fit 0/100. The program is a legitimate Missouri school and youth-community funding opportunity, but its published purpose and small award size do not support a credible Nonagon N9+ device and platform or QC Healthcare use case. Dr. Miltie, LLC is not a direct eligible applicant absent a qualifying community or nonprofit role. No applicant outreach or direct-vendor pursuit is indicated.
