Open now. Nevada’s Promise Scholarship application is open for the 2026-27 graduating class. Great Basin College and the College of Southern Nevada confirm an application period of August 1 through October 31, 2026.
Deadline: the application is due October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM. The controlling college pages reviewed do not publish a time zone for that cutoff, so Atlas does not infer one.
Applicant-relevant value: Nevada Promise is a last-dollar scholarship that can cover up to three years of registration and other mandatory fees not covered by qualifying federal or state gift aid, subject to legislative appropriation. The award is not a fixed cash amount. Participating Nevada community colleges include the College of Southern Nevada, Great Basin College, Truckee Meadows Community College, and Western Nevada College.
Eligibility: first-time applicants generally must be Nevada residents for tuition purposes, complete a qualifying Nevada or approved border-county high-school credential or qualifying high-school-equivalency credential during the applicable academic year, be under age 20 when initially receiving the scholarship, have no prior associate or bachelor’s degree, and satisfy all program deadlines. College-specific implementation requirements apply.
Required steps: applicants must submit the Nevada Promise application by October 31, apply for admission to the participating college, complete required Nevada Promise training, file the applicable FAFSA or approved non-filer process by the published deadline, complete and report required community service, complete the mentoring requirement, satisfy financial-aid eligibility requirements, and enroll in the required eligible credit load. The initial public application pages reviewed do not publish a separate universal attachment checklist beyond those program steps.
Allowable costs: the scholarship is designed to cover remaining registration and mandatory fees after qualifying gift aid. College pages state that special course, online, program, lab, housing, books, and similar non-mandatory costs may not be covered.
Match/cost share: no formal applicant match or cost-share percentage is stated. This is a last-dollar scholarship, so other qualifying gift aid is applied first.
Submission: students apply through the Nevada Promise application pathway associated with their participating Nevada community college and must then complete that college’s subsequent eligibility steps and deadlines.

Amendments/source status: no amendment changing the October 31, 2026 application deadline was found in the controlling official sources reviewed on September 11, 2026.
Atlas Opportunity Score: 66/100. The opportunity is open, statewide, clearly relevant to Nevada postsecondary access, and backed by official college and NSHE sources. Its score is moderated because it is an individual student scholarship rather than an organizational grant, procurement, or vendor pathway.
N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. This opportunity does not involve telehealth, remote physical examination, or healthcare technology procurement.
Dr. Miltie/QC Healthcare direct-vendor fit: 0/100. Neither Dr. Miltie nor QC Healthcare is an eligible scholarship applicant or vendor beneficiary.
Outreach status: no organization outreach is appropriate. The applicant is an individual student, and no recipient-facing Zoho outreach has been initiated.
