Opportunity Overview
The Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) is accepting Fall 2026 applications for its Community Literacy Grant, supporting literacy access outside the classroom for children and families in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Support and Deadline
The partnership provides an interactive CLiF storytelling presentation, a two-book giveaway for each participating child, an on-site children’s library, and an optional parent/caregiver literacy event. CLiF does not publish a cash award ceiling or total Fall 2026 pool for this program. Applications are due October 15, 2026; the official page does not state a closing time or time zone. Notification is scheduled for November 1, 2026.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are social-service providers, school-based programs, and community organizations in Vermont or New Hampshire serving children from birth through age 12. At least 35% of children served must qualify for free/reduced lunch, reduced tuition, or scholarships, and the applicant must be able to gather at least 30 children for the storytelling event. Eligible school-based programs include ELL classrooms, afterschool programs, and extracurricular programs; educators may not apply on behalf of an entire school.
Atlas Analysis

N9+ Fit: 0/100. QC Healthcare Fit: 0/100. The grant is devoted to children’s literacy and does not establish a clinical, telehealth, or remote-examination use case.
Immediate Next Step
Eligible Vermont programs should confirm the 35% access threshold and 30-child participation requirement, identify an eligible literacy setting, and apply through CLiF’s online application by October 15, 2026.
