Program Support controls
Each nonprofit may submit one Program Support application covering up to two programs and one Event Sponsorship application covering up to four events. Strong Program Support applications demonstrate a clear local need, a strong local track record, and specific measurable outcomes. A current Giving Partner profile strengthens an application.
Program Support does not fund medical research or disease-specific services, pass-through organizations, projects outside Gulf Coast’s service area, programs entering the region without local partners, individual schools, or religious participation/worship/instruction/proselytization. The public FY27 guidelines do not state a mandatory match or cost-share requirement, a procurement rule, or a specific technology/equipment/vendor-cost rule.

N9+ Fit Score: 55/100, conditional. A remote physical-examination or telehealth capability could be relevant only when it directly strengthens an eligible public charity’s established, broad health-access or community-health program. Because Gulf Coast does not expressly establish medical technology, equipment, or outside vendor costs as allowable in the public guidelines, applicants should confirm those costs before budgeting them. Disease-specific service proposals are expressly excluded from Program Support. Dr. Miltie, LLC is not a direct eligible applicant; a vendor or implementation-partner role would depend on an eligible applicant and Gulf Coast’s approval of the proposed cost.
Strong applicant profile
CenterPlace Health is a strong potential applicant because it is a Sarasota-area nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center providing primary medical, dental, women’s, pediatric, and integrated behavioral-health services. Its current Giving Partner profile identifies it as a 501(c)(3) public charity serving Sarasota and neighboring counties and documents ongoing primary-care and behavioral-health programs. CenterPlace also already offers telehealth, making any N9+ concept an enhancement to an existing care-delivery model rather than a new regional program. Any such technology cost remains subject to Gulf Coast confirmation.
