Opportunity Overview
The Michigan Health Endowment Fund currently lists its Attend/Present Scholarship program as open. The program supports professional development, networking, and learning through health-related conferences, trainings, and workshops for eligible Health Fund grantees and grant partners.
Funding and Deadline
Scholarships provide up to $2,500 per person, with a maximum of $5,000 per organization. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and must be submitted through the Health Fund’s brief online application at least four weeks before the event start date. There is no single fixed application deadline, closing time, or time zone to report. The Health Fund states that applicants are generally notified within approximately three weeks of online submission.
Eligibility
Applicants must be current or past Michigan Health Endowment Fund grant recipients or key partners on Health Fund grants. The conference, workshop, or training must have a direct connection to health or to the Health Fund’s work. State, regional, and national events may qualify, but opportunities outside the United States are not eligible.
Eligible and Ineligible Costs
Scholarship funds may cover registration fees, travel, lodging, and incidentals for attendees. Indirect costs are not eligible. Funds may not duplicate event or related travel expenses already supported by another funding source. Awards are one-time and nonrenewable in this area. Applicants may not receive more than one scholarship per year and may not apply to attend the same event in consecutive years.
Submission and Program Rules
Applicants submit a brief online application through the Health Fund. Priority is given to organizations that did not receive scholarship support in the previous year and for which attendance is cost-prohibitive. The Health Fund may request a short written report within two weeks after the event. Program questions are directed to Veronica Marchese through the Health Fund’s published contact channel.
Atlas Strategic Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 70/100. This is a verified, currently open Michigan health-related funding vehicle, but it is small and limited to organizations with a prior Health Fund grant relationship.
N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. The scholarship is limited to professional-development participation costs and does not provide a legitimate pathway for purchasing the Nonagon N9+ remote physical examination platform or QC Healthcare clinical services. Dr. Miltie, LLC should not be treated as an eligible applicant unless a qualifying current/past Health Fund grantee or key-partner relationship is independently verified.
Verification Notes
No mandatory match or cost-share percentage, procurement requirement, equipment allowance, or per-event technology/vendor purchasing authority is published for this scholarship program. Atlas will not infer any such terms.
