Funding: The program will award $75,000 total. Standard applicants may request up to $7,500; the review panel also guarantees funding for the top three qualifying microgrants of up to $2,500 each.

Community Health & Climate Resilience: Eligible concepts may educate on the intersection of public health and environmental issues or climate resilience, improve neighborhood-level preparedness for impacts such as heat, smoke, and flooding, or increase access to public-health resources related to climate resilience.
Match/cost share: No mandatory match or cost share was identified in the controlling 2026 City guidelines.
Funding restrictions: Compensation, salaries, commissions, fees, prizes, premiums, and similar expenses may not exceed 50% of the award. Administrative costs may not exceed 10%. Grant funds may not be used to purchase land or buildings or to pay retroactively for activities completed before the award.
Submission: The preferred method is the Connect Flagstaff online application. The City also permits a Word application by email to SustainabilityGrant@flagstaffaz.gov, paper submission to the Sustainability Office, or a video application addressing all application questions and submitted by link to the same email address.
