Utah RHTP PATH 1.1 — Rural Food Infrastructure / Utah Food Security Grant

Utah's Rural Health Transformation Program-backed Food Security Grant is open through August 31, 2026 to strengthen rural food production, processing, storage, distribution and market access. The 2026 round offers up to $9,265,098.80 in total funding, with grants ranging from $1,000 to $1 million for eligible Utah food-system entities, nonprofits, local governments, schools and other qualifying organizations.

Broad Eligibility

Eligible applicants include individual producers, cooperatives, for-profit businesses, nonprofit organizations, local governments, schools and other organizations aligned with the program. Applicants must be headquartered in Utah, the project must occur in Utah, at least 51% of project-related product must be grown or raised in Utah, and at least 25% of project-related product must be distributed to or serve rural Utah.
