The Montana Arts Council is accepting applications for the Arts Education Experiences FY27 grant program, which supports arts-learning experiences for Montana learners, including K-12 public school students.
Funding: awards range from $250 to $2,500, and no match is required.
Current deadline: the remaining FY27 round for projects occurring February 1 through June 30, 2027 is due December 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM. The controlling guidelines do not state a time zone.
Eligible applicants: Montana 501(c)(3) nonprofits incorporated and in good standing in Montana, K-12 public schools, tribal college or university arts programs with qualifying outreach, qualifying local chapters of national tax-exempt organizations, units of government, and public education institutions. Organizations generally must have operated continuously in Montana for at least one year before the project start date.
Eligible costs: guest-artist fees for virtual or in-person sessions, tools, supplies and small equipment for new arts media and methods, transportation for first-hand arts experiences, or a combination of those costs.
Restrictions and compliance: individuals are not eligible. Projects may not be funded retroactively and must fit the applicable project timeframe. Organizations may receive only one Arts Education Experiences award and one Arts Education Residencies award in the same fiscal year. Grantees must obtain a SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier before receiving funds and must remain current on Montana Arts Council reporting.
Submission and contact: applications are completed through the Montana Arts Council online grants management process. New applicants are encouraged to contact Monica Grable, Arts Education Director, at Monica.Grable@mt.gov or 406-444-6522 before applying.
Atlas Opportunity Score: 60/100. This is a legitimate Montana school and public-education funding opportunity, although award size is modest and the scope is strictly arts education.
N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. The verified scope does not support a legitimate remote physical examination, telehealth, diagnostics, or remote-patient-monitoring role.
Dr. Miltie direct-applicant fit: 0/100. QC Healthcare fit: 0/100. Neither should be forced into this arts-education program.
