The Endowment for Health Opportunity Grants program provides responsive funding for urgent needs, emerging opportunities, innovation, technical assistance, new ideas, and knowledge-sharing that strengthen health across New Hampshire.
Funding and timing
Opportunity Grants typically range from $1,000 to $20,000, are generally one-time awards with terms of one year or less, and require a final report. Applications are reviewed monthly. Applicants should submit by the last day of the month to receive a decision in approximately six weeks. The current controlling page does not publish an exact submission time or time zone, a total 2026 funding pool, or a solicitation number.
Priority considerations
Priority is given to projects that advance health equity, leverage other resources, demonstrate urgency, identify realistic and measurable outcomes, show implementation capacity, involve collaboration, demonstrate sustainability where applicable, and serve a broad New Hampshire geography or significant population.
Generally ineligible expenses and projects
The Endowment lists grants to individuals, out-of-state projects, ongoing operating expenses, equipment purchases, event or conference sponsorships, capital campaigns and fundraising events, lobbying, expenses already incurred, replacement of public funding, sectarian or religious programs, and political activity as generally ineligible.
